The Lexus GX470 has a cult following in the overlanding community — capable, reliable, and unapologetically rugged for a luxury marque. This fully-rigged miniature model, created for YouTuber @Awesomoto, applies real tyre traction and drivetrain physics to a caricaturized design applying realistic physics into a playable gaming asset.
Real physics-based movements showcase highlight the soft suspension, acceleration, and braking mechanism based into the model for gameplay, and in early development, enjoyed trying to navigate the course without losing all the gear!
Actual bulb-based lighting rig, genuine to true modifications often seen, with independent control switches for separate lights, including headlines, flood lights, ditch lights, and main light bar.
The model has a very real drivetrain and forward/backward moving propulsion, traction based, to pull the model along the surface making the tyre tracking a key factor in steering and control.
