Cookies and Milk Fluid Physics

An experiment with fluid physics and rigid-body objects using a hand-sketched Oreo – imported, displaced, extruded, and smoothed to develop the recognizable and nostalgic surface texture we all know and love. The model exhibits the porous, brittle biscuits' outer defensive mesh pushing back against the liquid until it ultimately (and rapidly) begins absorption and sinks by programmatically removing vertex groups and becoming consumed by the fluid in this fun and all too familiar sinking simulated scene.

Explore the AR model or jump into the fully-immersive VR experience and navigate your way through the cookie curves from an ants POV .
