Advanced Drop Cloth Simulation

A creative exploration in developing a dynamic rubberized mesh texture that can catch and secure a 1kg dropped object. This model was designed to experiment with rigid bodies and cloth mesh manipulation. Although creating cloth simulations is not necessarily difficult, the design challenge was formulating the specific objects' weight, distance of drop, and mesh displacement values required to develop a texture that slowly nestles the payload safely to the ground and adapts to changing variables.
